Express Route

Express-Route

When objects roll under the influence of gravity, they tend to follow the path that takes the least amount of time. Surprisingly, this path is not a straight line, but a special curve known as a cycloid. The cycloid is the quickest path because it allows the object to reach the bottom faster compared to a straight-line path. The principle behind this phenomenon lies in the conservation of energy and the concept of least time. As the object descends, it converts potential energy into kinetic energy. The cycloid path minimizes the time it takes for the object to travel, making it the fastest route under the influence of gravity. So, even though the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, the quickest path for a rolling object influenced by gravity is the fascinating and curved cycloid. It's like nature has its own way of creating an exhilarating rollercoaster ride for objects on the move!
